Brief
Hello. One of your people stopped by recently and tried to convince me that the most important part of a fighter's gear is armor, and that situational awareness doesn't matter nearly as much. Frankly, I don't share that view. Sure, you can't see or hear absolutely everything. But armor will never give you complete protection either, especially if you walk into an ambush. Personally, I'd take a good headset over heavy, reinforced armor any day. Fortunately, I don't have to make that choice myself. So what would you choose? You've got enough experience to test this properly in the field. Better yet, let's try this: you gather some real statistics using two different loadouts, and in return I'll arrange a supply of some unique items from Peacekeeper. He owes me a favor, you see. Try neutralizing PMC operatives while wearing a headset but no armor. Then do the opposite, say... using a tank crew helmet. That should put you at a serious information disadvantage.

So, how did it go? You're saying you need both gear and good hearing? Yes, that's exactly what I expected. Still, the research was useful, so you've earned your reward. Those headsets are usually custom-made, but Peacekeeper should be able to supply models that fit you properly.
